On May 21, the Tulip Islamic Centre proudly hosted a special event highlighting the important chaplaincy services provided by our dedicated volunteer members. The event served as a valuable opportunity for community members to gain insight into the meaningful work being done in chaplaincy, especially through the lens of faith and service.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Huseyin Ayasun, who shared his experiences as a volunteer Imam chaplain. His inspiring stories and reflections offered guests a deeper understanding of the impact and significance of spiritual care in diverse settings.
We are also grateful to Selim Yagci, a full-time chaplain, who enriched the event by contributing his professional perspective and experiences. His insights highlighted both the challenges and rewards of this essential role in serving individuals across various life situations.
